Sheriff’s office
Assault — County Road 402, Proctorville Wednesday, assistance requested with combative patient, one paramedic bitten on hand, taken to hospital.
Domestic — Township Road 204, Willow Wood, woman reportedly assaulted, suspect named.
Domestic — Fayette Township Friday, woman reportedly struck with flying shoe, Christopher G. Conwell, 28, 92 Township Road 1018, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.
Domestic — Country Heart Inn, South Point Thursday, woman reportedly punched in face, choked, slapped, James M. Imes, 22, 70 Private Drive 302, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.
Burglary — Occupant returned home to find suspect in residence, gave chase, Scotty Hoke, 18, 74 Township Road 1122, Proctorville, arrested and taken to jail.
Ironton police
Theft — Fourth and Quincy streets Tuesday, purse taken.
Trouble — Fuzzy Duck, Center Street landing Wednesday, man reportedly causing trouble, left prior to officer’s arrival.
Dog complaint — 300 block Neal Street Wednesday, house vacated, dogs left behind, dog warden notified.
Domestic — 300 block Spruce Street Thursday, man taken to police station.
Trouble — Boomers, South Third Street Thursday, man down, taken to hospital.
Fight — Ironton Hills Shopping Center Thursday, all advised and moved on.
Assault — 700 block Depot Square Friday, finger bitten during fight, one taken to hospital.
Attempted breaking and entering — Waste water treatment plant Friday, door broken.
Domestic — 1300 block South Ninth Street Friday, child out of control, taken to hospital.
Assist EMS— American Legion, 700 block Quincy Street Friday, assistance requested on strange sounding medical call, Tyrone L. Black, 38, Greenup, Ky., arrested on outstanding warrant and additionally charged with possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs and taken to jail.

— Daniel A. Prince, 28, 47 Private Drive 78, South Point, outstanding warrants, DUI, driving under suspension Friday by the South Point Police Department.
— John E. Brooks, 41, 320 Spruce St., Ironton, possession of cocaine, possession of drug abuse instruments Thursday by the Ironton Police Department.
— Jason Sizemore, 24, 18023 State Route 93, Pedro, outstanding warrant Thursday by the Lawrence County Game Warden.

This shoe attacked me earlier last week when i was driving thru Fayette Township.. They need to do something about this shoe! other than taser it! They need to lock this shoe up for a long TIME!
