Ironton LL plans tryouts, signups

The Ironton Little League will conduct final registrations Friday followed by tryouts at the Ironton Middle School gym.

Late registrations for playeres and managers begin at 5:30 p.m.

The tryout schedule is:

6 p.m. boys and girls ages 7-8; 6:45 boys and girls ages 9-10; 7:30 boys and girls 11-12.

Ironton tickets on sale at BLSG

Regional tournament tickets for the Ironton boys are on sale at Bob Linn Sporting Goods.

Ironton plays Peebles at 9 p.m. Saturday, at Ohio University’s Convocation Center.

Tickets are $6. The school receives only $1 of the presale. All money at the gate goes to the Ohio High School Athletic Association.

Chesapeake tix

District championship tournament tickets for the Chesapeake boys are on sale in the high school principal’s office.

The Panthers play Zane Trace at 7 p.m. Saturday at Ohio University’s Convocation Center.

The Rock Hill Little League will hold baseball and softball registrations from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Rock Hill Middle School. The registrations are for players ages 4-16.

Fee is $30 and youths should present a birth certificate and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

CGLL baseball plans signups

The Coal Grove Little League will conduct baseball registrations from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday in the Dawson-Bryant High School.

Registrations are for youths ages 5-to-16. First time players should present a copy of their birth certificate. All youths should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Chesy Little League

The Chesapeake Little League will conduct registrations from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Chesapeake Community Center.

Registrations are for youths ages 4-to-18 in all leagues including tee ball, baseball and softball.
